The return of Weekly Posts

I admit, I have been horrible about updating my blogs. With the advent of my birthday last Friday, I wrote out several goals for the next year. One of those to blog on a regular basis. My last seven months have been focused, primarily, on my marketing consultation business Apothecary. I have created a easier on me editorial calendar (because NO ONE makes me feel as guilty as I can make myself feel).

Monday - Goodie Bags (or favors)
Wednesday - Invites
Friday - Manner of the week
Weekend - Party Ideas

Plus you will see, here and there, the fun activities the family as casa de barber creates. Enjoy!

And on to this weeks Goodie Bag.

I found this on the Pleated Poppy blog.
These look adorable and also, perhaps more importantly, easy to make.

And she includes something I realllllllly like on blog postings. Pictures and tutorial of how to make what she is showing. Because me? I need all the steps.

Gift Bag Thursday

Jumping right into this one...As always, be sure to support small vendors, like the Etsy entrepreneurs below...

The bags shown above are from Mary Had a Little Party. She will personalize the bags she makes too. How lovely is that?

I saw this favor "bag" from Personalized Mom and thought to myself "Such a perfect goody bag" for a little boys party. Did you notice these can be personalized too?

These gift tags are from Seasonal Delights
The price is right on the mark, and these are soooo pretty.

And these goody bag tags are from Your Angil. How great would these be for a royal princess party?

Thursday Gift Bag ideas

Exciting gift bag selctions! Lets see...there are two Etsy selections and a sample from a real party!

These bags from Branded Butterfly are so colorful and would be sure to be reused after the party.

Little mini-gift bags from Hinda Jewels Boutique. So petite and cute. And the paper is so pretty.

These bags were made by Lovely Design. The drawstring bags were created using cotton muslin, cotton cording and letter appliques. Lovely Deisgn includes a pattern for the bags on the site.

The contents of this bag included two home-made notebooks, a small pack of special japanese crayons, and a small treat: two individualized glassine pockets, one filled with organic cheese puffs, and the other with organic chocolate chip cookies.

Thursday Goody Bag Ideas

Today's gift bag suggestions, primarily, are around the bags themselves...

I really can't find one person who does not like sock monkeys. These sock monkeys bags are from Colonial Candle. Unfortunately, the price is not listed on this product. This would certainly work for anyone - children or adults.

OOhhh weeeee. Cupcake goody bags from Cute Inspiration. These git bags are a whole bunch of cute and could be used for both child's party or for an adult cupcake baking party.

I really like the idea of a table full of these colorful gift bags from Creative Hellos sitting on a table.

Gorgeous wedding gift bags from Abbey and Dizzie Designs. Perfect for filling up with mints or chocolates.

Thursday is Gift Bag idea day!

I am going to quickly get this out as I fear the lovely Wisconsin weather may take advantage of the power in the house.

Please find below of great ideas for gift bags.

The Glittered Nest shows an inexpensive gift bag for an art party that included a decorated bag and art supplies.

The gift bag contents included three types of paper, small canvas, foam brush, three templates and a butterfly.

This gift bag is from Chica Schmica

First off I love a child that indicates thaey want Bananas as their birthday party theme. What I also really love is the simplicity and frugalness of this goody bag. The contents of this bag included paintchip-notepads, banana crayons (melted then poured into candy molds), noise makers, banana suckers, and little craft papers.

The final gift bag of the day is for a bachalorette party. This was posted at the Sweet Talk blog.

I adore the idea of providing goody bags for any event possible. A bachalorette party provides the perfect opportunity to give your friends some small tokens of appriciation! What is not to love about the presentation here? Chinese take away boxes are the perfect keep all for goodies as well.
